zippy, light, and powerful but the exhaust blows out the front so yes its hard to use on hardwood floors but if all ya goot is carpet or rugs.its great.
Nothing to complain here. It works and it's durable. But I live in a 800 sq ft apartment with no kids or pets. So I can't comment on its performance "under pressure" :)
I'M SO DISGUSTED WITH EUREKA SERVICE - I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER PRODUCT FROM YOU AGAIN. THIS IS THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EXPERIENCED IN A LONG TIME.
I ORDERED THIS PART 10 DAYS AGO AND HEARD NOTHING - ZERO FROM YOU THAT IT WAS ON BACKORDER. I WROTE AND E-MAIL INQUIRY - NO REPLY.
THIS IS RIDICULOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ASKED FOR LOCATION LOCALLY TO GET THE PART AND WAS TOLD - I DON'T KNOW - MAYBE A LOCAL VACUUM DEALER LIKE EVERGREEN.
I CALLED - FINALLY GOT HOLD OF A LIVE PERSON AND ALL SHE COULD SAY WAS IT WAS ON BACKORDER. YOU COULDN'T HAVE TOLD ME THAT.
I WOULD EXPECT SOME SORT OF APOLOGY - YOU PEOPLE KNOW IF I HAVE A CENTRAL VACUUM SYSTEM FROM YOU I CANNOT CLEAN THE CARPET WITHOUT THE BELT - AND YET YOU CAN'T INFORM ME IT IS ON BACKORDER. IF I CAN FIND A WEBSITE TO ADVERTISE YOU LACK OF CUSTOMER EMPATHY - I'LL GET IT THERE ALSO.
Plus it is bagless so that is a big saver on buying bags. Like I said, this is great for carpets and the attachments are neat and work great in furniture crevices and blinds.
I really like this vacuum cleaner on my carpeted section of the house but when I got to the bare floor I notice that I shoots all the dirt out the back onto your feet. I guess it's too powerful for bare floors.
I bought this at a wal-mart at the same price. you get mud shot everywhere else.
Not to mention that when it's on it blows air at the same time so dust bunnies and pieces of trash fly off around you. It was pretty frustrating during the rainy season when you get dirt and mud tracked into your home and you try to vacuum it up with this one.
It is very powerful and picks everything out of the carpets and leaves the thick ones all fluffy. So if you don't have ANY bare floors.buy it.
I bought this product about two months ago. It has great power and hasn't given me the clogging or burnout problems other reviews have mentioned. I am careful to empty out the canister and clean the filter regularly though.
